Born in Santa Bàrbara in 1923, Don Antonio Arasa started his career as a veterinary surgeon in Alcanar in 1948. He then moved on to Vinaròs, La Jana, Traiguera and Xerta, where his memory is still alive.
Besides standing out in large animal and rural veterinary medicine, Don Antonio Arasa was a passionate and leading pioneer in the small animal veterinary practice, a passion that he suceeded in passing on to two of his children– Antonio José and Mª Conxa.
